The Easy Bake Oven has come a long, long way.

Charity at Christmastime

Make sure you don’t forget charity during the holiday season!

Hi everyone, Holly here. The holiday season is here and I’ve been thinking a lot about charity. Our church was handing out brochures this week on the giving tree, letting us know that they’re going to be needing contributions again this year. Without programs like the giving tree and the charity of people around the world, so many people would go without on Christmas day.

If you want to participate in charity work this holiday season, try some of these on for size.

Christmas Shopping For a Football Fan?

Christmas Shopping for a football fan made easy.

Hi everyone, it’s Holly again. If there’s one thing I’ve learned since living in Wisconsin, it’s that people out here take football very, very seriously. It’s not so much a sport as it is a religion. In fact, the one time I can go to the stores and not wait in a line is when there’s a Packers game on.

I, on the other hand, have not cared much about football since my cheerleading days in high school and that was a long time ago. So when I find myself doing Christmas shopping for a football fan for Christmas I rely on some of my secret shopping tricks.

It’s Christmas for Fido and Fifi Too

Whether or not to get Christmas gifts for your beloved pets.

Hi everyone. It’s Angie again. Who here has pets? I have dogs and cats and each year my husband and I debate about whether or not I should get them anything for Christmas. I say that Christmas should be just as fun for pets as it should be for humans and my husband says Christmas isn’t supposed to be about cats and dogs.

If you’re in a dilemma about whether or not to get Christmas gifts for your pets, do what I do and get them small gifts that the entire family can feel comfortable with. After all, getting your pets a little something for the holiday season can be a way of showing them how much you appreciate their companionship throughout the year.
