Charity at Christmastime

Make sure you don’t forget charity during the holiday season!

Hi everyone, Holly here. The holiday season is here and I’ve been thinking a lot about charity. Our church was handing out brochures this week on the giving tree, letting us know that they’re going to be needing contributions again this year. Without programs like the giving tree and the charity of people around the world, so many people would go without on Christmas day.

If you want to participate in charity work this holiday season, try some of these on for size.

Volunteer

From soup kitchens to food pantries, volunteers are needed in mass during the holiday season. Without volunteers, charity would fall flat on its face. If you want to make a difference, find out what programs are offered in your area and volunteer to help out.

Donate

There are thousands of programs out there that need funding. If you can spare the extra cash, you might want to select a charity you would be interested in donating to.
