Christmas Cards: Making a List, Checking It Twice

How to plan your Christmas cards list.

Hi everyone -- Angie here. Well, October is ending today and in comes November. I’m starting to get really excited about the holidays. Christmas is right around the corner! Can you believe how the time is flying? I think it’s time to start planning our Christmas cards lists.

Who’s On Your List?

The first step in making our Christmas cards list is to sit down with a pen and paper and start writing. Write down the names of who you want Christmas cards to go to and write the names of people you’ve gotten cards from over the years. Go back through the cards you’ve gotten over the years to make sure you haven’t left anyone out.

Don’t Forget New Friends

By now your list should be getting well underway. But let’s not forget our new friends. New friends may be easily overlooked this time of year. Make sure that you don’t forget them!

Review, Review, Review

Now that you’ve made your list, review it and make sure you haven’t left anyone out. If you have a name but not an address, you have plenty of time to find the address so right now just worry about making a list of “who” and not “where” for your Christmas cards. Within the following weeks you can get the addresses ready and you’ll be set when it comes time to mail out your Christmas cards.
