Christmas decorations around my house are a big deal. We go all out and I absolutely have to have the best house on the block. It’s a male thing I guess. My wife likes the fact that the Christmas decorations look nice, but she just doesn’t seem to be as competitive about it as I am.

If you like Christmas decorations and you want to go all out but you just can’t justify the cost (they are expensive), do what we do. We got a huge blow-up Santa that was usually $99 for $9.99 one year and another year we got a $200 tree for $50. Then just save the decorations for the following year and you’re all set!
