Making a Great Holiday Table
How to make a holiday table you can be proud of.
Hi everyone, Angie here. Now that the holidays are fast approaching, I thought it’d be the perfect time to discuss ways to make a great holiday table. I love setting the table at my house during the holiday season. On Thanksgiving and on Christmas, I relish in the chore of making sure everything at the holiday table is just right. If you’re setting the holiday table this year, here are some helpful hints.
Don’t Overcrowd It
The worst thing you can possibly do to your holiday table is overcrowd it. No one likes to be cramped in and hitting elbows, so make sure there’s plenty of room at the table. If worse comes to worse and the table isn’t big enough, even with the leaf in, make a separate children’s table to add more room.
Make Sure it Matches
Nothing looks tackier than dishes that don’t match, so if you don’t have enough dishes of one set to go around, then invest in some disposable holiday dishes. Disposable dishes will look a lot less tackier than dishes that don’t go with one another.
Use Linen Napkins
Whether your dishes are disposable or china, linen napkins are a must for the holiday season. They really dress up the table and make things seem special.
So those are my holiday table tips. If you have any holiday table tips, please share them with us.
