There’s just six more days till Christmas. Can you believe it? Santa clause is coming to my house this year. Is he coming to yours? If you’ve never had Santa Clause over to your house, here are some ideas to get you started.
Milk and Cookies
Okay, so it’s quintessential cheesiness, but milk and cookies are must-haves for when Santa Clause comes to visit. Each year my kid and I set out chocolate chip cookies for Santa and a nice cold glass of milk on Christmas Eve. Then the kids head up to bed and when they wake up, there’s always a bite taken out of the cookie and the milk is always gone.
Getting the Fireplace Ready
Each year we clean out the fireplace on Christmas Eve. After all, we don’t want Santa tracking ashes on the carpeting when he comes down the chimney. You can actually make cleaning out the fireplace a fun family activity on Christmas Eve. Trust me, you can’t pull that one off any other time of year.
